Free, Cheap & Easy Marketing

In these challenging business times there are still marketing options you can use that won't break the bank. We will discuss these options in the coming weeks. Feel free to add your two cents, we LOVE new ideas. These methods will be in no particular order, but all have value. Depending on your business, some will work better than others.
Networking is vital - get out there and talk to people. I highly recommend joining a networking group. Get involved in your community, doing good for someone less fortunate that you (and there's ALWAYS someone who is...) is the best way to appreciate what you have. It almost sounds too simple, but be friendly, have a smile on your face when you're talking with people. Nobody wants to do business with a person that is negative and gloomy. Surround yourself with positive, optimistic, upbeat people. You will find they are the ones that are succeeding. And finally, when you find yourself in a negative thought pattern, kick your own butt and go do something. You must keep yourself "top of mind" to your potential clients, talking with them is a good way to do that.

CHOW

On Wednesday, October 7th, Seriously Fun Marketing Group and Timeless Design Builders hosted the North Brainerd Lakes Chamber CHOW time. We had a great turn out and we didn't run out of food (I'm so glad!). There were plenty of friends, laughter, and great networking. Thanks to everyone that came. You are the best!

Ribbon Cutting...

The Ribbon Cutting went well (despite the freezing temperatures - I'm so not ready for winter). The Brainerd Lakes Chamber came out and welcomed us proper. It was fun!

Serious Fun!

It has been a busy year for Seriously Fun. We got a new office space, right in downtown Pequot Lakes (next to the Legion) in May. We've been busy remodeling, painting, furnishing, etc...it looks great BTW. One of us got married, one of us quit her full-time job to make Seriously Fun her full-time gig, we hired a sales rep, and the kids are finally back at school. Now we're getting down to the serious business of making money - for our clients and us. Hopefully that will now mean regularly occurring blog updates. We welcome your comments and questions...ttyl.
